The Dock And Grill - Hayward

This small family-owned restaurant doesn't try to be anything it's not. What it is, or rather what it serves, is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Expect it to be filled with regulars. Grab a seat at the bar with a friend and enjoy a delicious pie and some good beers!

We arrived during a slow period and received good service. The food was excellent, like many other restaurants in the area. The deep fried steak bites were delicious. Kathy, the owner, came over to introduce herself, she was very pleasant. It was nice to see they have a Charlie pull tab machine. I had to update my review since the new owners took over. The pizza is excellent and the portion sizes are generous for the price. I recommend giving the new owners a try, you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant has a charming small-town vibe with friendly employees. However, they forgot to ask if we wanted a refill on our beer. They let us sample different beers before ordering, which was a big plus. The pizza was phenomenal! Although it took a while to be served, it was definitely worth the wait.

I had a great time eating amazing food at your bar grill. The homemade pizza, and the Broasted Chicken is the best I have had in Hayward. The atmosphere under new owner (Butch) was awesome, and the staff were committed to great service and outwardlyvery friendly.

We've eaten here several times with friends and family under the new ownership. The burgers, fish sandwich, sausage pizza, broasted chicken, gluten free pizza and appetizers were all delicious! Servers were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Theowner came by to ensure that my food allergies were accommodated by the kitchen. I'm usually not a fan of cauliflower crustpizza however I've had the pizza twice and both times it tasted amazing! The owner said they are remodeling this fall can'twait to see the changes!
