Favorite Indian - Hayward

I recently visited Favorite Indian Restaurant in Hayward for their weekday buffet. It was a great spread with plenty of vegan options. My top picks were the Saag Spinach, Bhindi Masala, Vegetable Biryani, and Idli with Sambhar and coconut chutney. I appreciated the sliced lime and raw Serrano chili peppers with seeds on the buffet to add some heat. It would have been nice to see Saag Tofu or Spinach Tofu Samosas added to the selection. The Bollywood music videos playing on the television created a nice ambiance.

I haven't been here for years! but I'm so glad I came back. I had the pleasure of choosing a good day when they opened their evening buffet again!

We were able to have the buffet. The food was so tasty and the presentation was wonderful. The service was also outstanding. If you love Indian food, this is the place to go!
