We found this place advertising diy food. We paid our 36 dollars and we were led to our table. It then was added with hot burning charcoal bars which resemble a hot furnace. The the guy switched on this rotation machine. I was a bit miffed as to what is was for them I noticed some grid holes either side being moved from left to right as the charcoal was burning. I went to get my meat on a skewers and aha the idea is to connect your skewers with a star shaped cog to the moving grid. Ohhhh it turns them so it's nicely cooked all over. Oh boy is this fun. We were also given a bowl of cooking spicy soup to boil your fish balls or mushrooms or carrots etc. There is a variety of things to add to your cooking spread.

We just stumbled across this eatery and being a little adventurous with food decided to give it a go. The restaurant was busy, always a good sign, but the concept was alien to us. Basically it is a cook you own food on a hot BBQ placed on the table and a small gas burner with a pot of "liquid" to boil food in. We asked for help in how the system worked but still didn't quite get it! However we just watched what other diners were doing and got the hang of it. We just chose uncooked food from the counter and placed it either in the pot or on the bbq. Quite surprisingly we had to pay up front and I was charged for using a credit card. We both thought it was expensive and it is not a meal we would repeat.
