Contribuiți la feedbackA limited edition "Black Truffle Ramen" is a must to try! something really different (its fusion between East meets west)! My friend took me here while visiting in Sydney and I am glad that I have ever tried it!
I've been travelling around for quite a while and tried many different Ramen places and this ranks among the top 3 while considering flavour, broth, noodle and price.Hidden away in the top level food court of the sussex center I found this diamond in the rough.A long awaited catch up with an old friend and my partner while blowing through Sydney had me on the search for a new Ramen place to try. Thanks to urbanlist.com I found the next tasty meal (this time on a tight-as-a-ducks... budget) under $15. Ramen Ikkyu delivered well beyond my $15 expectations. We ordered black garlic Tonkotsu #1 recomendation and the braised beef Tonkotsu #2 both were amazing. Conservative sizes but with free Kaedama (extra noodles) no worries mate, bring it on.Next time I blow through Sydney I will def be back. :)
This is the best ramen so far in Sydney CBD (not that I have tried all haha). Their Tonkotsu Braised Pork is a must try, the meat is very tender and juicy... plus the broth, heaven!! The dish is good for 4, then we just each ordered $6 tonkotsu ramen. I also tried their tantan men. It's spicy but not too much, just right for my taste. If you're a ramen fan, make sure to drop by ramen ikkyu. ❤️
The soup is amazing but come on I ask to BUY extra soup flat out NO what the hell service is that Very narrow vision Gumshara ramen are always so busy and helpful to supply more soup
There's a history to this place but most importantly, it's broth is slow cooked for many hours. They give extra noodles free to use up excess broth but lately the extra serving looking mangey and small. Prices have gone up too. Apart from these 2 complaints. The product is excellent.
