JB's Bar & Grill - Haymarket

We used this grill bar attached to the Holiday Inn Hotel whilst staying in the Darling Harbour area a few weeks back. It is a smart and sociable grill bar that looks good and is full of promise. But in truth very disappointing. With beer a $9 a half and food that is by any standard on the expensive side I would expect better. The staff were very friendly and helpful but that was about it. Service was slow and not well organised, the salads were of poor quality and the steaks though well cooked just plain tough. You would get a better meal at half the price in a UK Beef Eater.

There is a huge choice of hotels at Darling Harbour. I had eaten here previously so I thought that staying at the hotel would be superb. Many of the staff were great but a few with a "don't care attitude" ruined it for me.

JB;s is a great place near Paddy's market and Chinatown in Sydney. The bar offers bistro food of really good quality and servie to match.

皆んなでランチです。バイブホテルの前を通り、チャイナタウンの直ぐ先のホリデーインホテルに行きました。そこの1階のJB's Bar & Grillです。マカロニ。量は多いです。味はちょっと塩辛い。デザートはアイスで逆に甘くちょうど良かった。広いレストランに客は我々の団体だけでした。

Very casual place and looks a bit basic but the food is really nice - they have a couple of good tap beers as well - part of the Holiday Inn hotel
