Great Southern Hotel - Haymarket

This restaurant is more affordable compared to most in Sydney and its location is perfect. While it may not be luxurious, it is well-maintained and cozy. The renovations have preserved the historical architecture of the building. The rooms may be on the smaller side, but they are equipped with everything you need. If you're not looking to splurge on marble and glass, this place is a great alternative option.

The great needs to remove, it is very outdated and the rooms were not covid clean good location though. only the reason we have stayed will probably not stay again

Like a sporty set, but with taking the centralized music can not play a sound, has also quite expensive drinks (and very expensive eat) and a bad selection of them, with happy hour especially limited.

Very cheap hotel in view of its location. I was three times in the last 12 months. the staff is great, the main is fantastic, the meals are quite good. beer is cold, with chinatown in front of the door. the rooms are good, petty, but all they need. in. the room to sleep.

Great Southern Hotel is a great location in the middle of China Town. There are some really great restaurants just at the back door and Paddy's Market is also right there as well. Trams and Central station are only a short walk away. The room...we were in was small but clean. The ceiling fan was great to help with air circulation a nice touch. The blanket was a little tired and rough though but the linen itself was good.
