Dainty Dumpling House - Haymarket

Wow if I could give this zero stars I would First we ordered Shanghainese noodles.

I decided to try this place out, it's hidden from other restaurants and despite other bad reviews the food was surprisingly good! I tried XLB and pork chive

Quiet place on the corner of Market cityI've had duck steamed buns (gun bao?) Steamed pork dumplings and prawn and chive dumplings.

My husband and I are vegetarians and had the fried eggplant, 7 flavors tofu, vegetarian rice and dumplings. Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. We also had a dessert (in the picture) which was good enough. I'm not reviewing the place with a 5 just because the staff wasn't especially welcoming but everything else was lovely. We're definitely going back!

Food are satisfying. Staff is very poor in welcoming needed to develop there friendliness and the efficiency to serve a guest . Don't feel comfortable at all. My husband and I always go on a restaurant and mostly the place we visited are excellent but this place need a lot of improvement .. PS: I don't understand why a waitress is carrying a phone with her at her back pants. An acceptable no standard and staff keep talking instead of coming to our table to ask if we need anything but nothing. Definitely not recommend this place
