Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited on a Saturday evening and both ordered the half smoked sausage, which was supposed to come with a pretzel bun. Unfortunately, we were not served pretzel buns. To make matters worse, the sausage was much too spicy for me to eat. I went back inside to ask the server about the missing pretzel buns and the spice level of the sandwich. I learned that they were out of pretzel buns, which they should have informed us about when we ordered. I was also told that the half smoked sausage was what made the sandwich spicy. This wasn’t mentioned on the menu and, in my opinion, should have been. I was raised not to waste food and have had plenty of half smoked sausages that were far more palatable. When I explained that I couldn’t eat the sausage because of its spiciness, I was met with silence. I then decided to order a plain bratwurst instead. Good customer service, as we experienced at the original location, would have meant comping the sandwich or at least offering something to make it right, especially since we were not informed about the pretzel bun situation when ordering. This experience left us very disappointed, and we decided we would not return. Update: I wanted to add that the owner, Jason, was very responsive to my concerns and offered to refund me for the extra sandwich. It’s refreshing to see a manager stand by his word, and because of this exceptional response, we are likely to give them another chance.
This restaurant offers excellent food. While the prices are a bit on the high side, I don't mind spending a little extra for high-quality dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back.
The cheesesteak was incredibly delicious. The roll was soft yet had a nice crust, and the portion was just right. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the option to customize my finely chopped steak a little bit.
The food here was quite good, although the menu was a bit confusing. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I would likely come back to explore the various options.
This review is from the time when Ethel's and Eugene's were separate establishments. I haven't visited either since they merged into one location. The elk sausage dog was outstanding. Everything here is delicious, and it even tastes great to-go. I don’t eat much meat, but this is one of my exceptions—it’s definitely worth it! I opted to skip the carbs and had them prepare it without the bun. Many might think I'm missing out on part of the experience, but I didn’t miss the bread at all because the fillings are just that good! I'm so glad this restaurant has become a part of our community!
