Slow services, not worth the wait I'm afraid after waiting 25 minutes with no one in front of me.

Lovely fresh fish and chips. Friendly service and decent portion sizes. Will be coming back here again!

Great fish chips. The best we've had in Sale for many years.

Important note: if you 're not prepared to spend over £7 on fish and chips don 't read on. If you 're still with me, know that The Sea Basket has some very tasty offerings not to mention ginormous portion sizes and they 're now firmly on my 'chippy tea ' favourites list. Dangerously, they 're within a 10 minute walk. The inside is sleek, airy and spotless, the polar opposite of Theo 's Fish Chip Shop further down Washway Road yelp.co.uk/biz/theos fis… . There are scrawlings on the walls to keep you occupied, all fish related. Battered haddock was crispy on the outside and satisfying on the inside, the chips were plump and hearty there were masses of them, so ask for a small portion if you 're not a bottomless pit like me. The curry sauce for dipping was equally good. A wholly excellent takeaway destination, sure they could be cheaper, but then the food quality would no doubt suffer. Stay as you are SB, stay as you are.
