Snowshoe Inn Restaurant - Hay River

Beautiful location directly at the huge mackenzie river. my room on the lower level was cool and very spacious and I had access to a well equipped kitchen. the bedroom has been updated and the updated conveniences have been appreciated. kathy at the reception was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I stayed a week and felt very welcome every day. the further foreseeable area is a wonderful place to be with bison roaming in the city, Sandhill crane along the river bank during my daily walks and friendly peoples. the snowshoe café above the street was a nice break from cooking in my room.

I was a week in the snowshoe-inn while I worked in the continuing foreseeable. all the staff were so helpful and friendly! I really enjoyed the newly renovated rooms. the art works appeasing, the beds were very nice and cozy, the sessel were great to sit and relax, and the USB chargers on the round were so practical I haven't been over how amazing the look was from my room! every day the sunset was a tasty to look at the dancing northern lights was spectacular and see them a heart of up to casual on the road to foot was something I thought I would never see that I had every breakfast and lunch dense in the snowshoe in café, there was a lot of possibilities to choose! I enjoyed the breakfast most as it took me for every busy day in the snowshoe-in-art and crafts shop I took a few handmade items to bring back to home, including a small couple of baby mokassin boots for a friend, I wish I picked up a few for myself!

The Snowshoe Inn was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful views of the MacKenzie River from our room. Recently renovated. Very clean, great service and the restaurant/shopping across the street.

We had an enjoyable dinner of good seafood/comfort food on the outside deck_The fried calamari was light and crisp.
