Pizza Show - Hawthorne

I asked one of my daughters where I could get some great pizza, and she suggested Pizza Show in Hawthorne. Well, it was some of the worst pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had, and I’m being nice. Don’t waste your money! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1

I have to say, the staff here are outstanding—very polite, friendly, and accommodating. However, the pizza didn't quite meet my expectations, especially considering the price. I only tried two slices, so perhaps a whole pie might be better, but the sauce was slightly off, and the crust was burnt. While I don't mind a bit of char, the overall texture of the crust felt lacking; it didn't have that handmade quality I was hoping for. Still, it was edible, but I personally think it wasn't worth the cost. On the plus side, they do load on the cheese, which I really appreciated. If you're looking for a more artisanal pizza experience, this feels more like a chain restaurant than a cozy, homemade spot. We are a family of four and long-time residents of Hawthorne, and we were taken aback by our recent experience at Pizza Show. Despite there being three empty large tables in the front, we were informed that we couldn’t sit there because those booths were reserved for groups of five or more. It was disheartening to see the restaurant so empty on a Thursday at 6 PM, and this new policy seems to have been implemented since our last visit on September 7, when this was not an issue. I plan to call the owner to clarify this situation. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service and atmosphere. Rating: 1 star each.

Good pizza, I ordered a large pepperoni with jalapenos, not too hot, not too spicy, the restaurant was small, clean and somewhat dark, the location- I'd go there during the day only, its not the best of neighborhoods. The restaurant does not offer delivery but you can have uber eats, door dash or any of those other services deliver your food for you. I had dine in service and delivery service to the hotel. It's good pizza.
