Hawthorne garage

Perfect place for a casual catch up. Coffee is really good! They have just start d making pizza which really tasted nice - we will be back!

Good food, limited range, a little expensive for a cafe on a suburban main road. But the cake shop we headed for was closed. Lovely walk to and from the ferry. Really good coffee.

Perfect place for all your needs, from coffee to fruit,veggies and not to forget the yummy cakes and deli sections. Hardly just around my block.

This deli/food bar was just across the road from where we were staying. We had been told it was expensive - but gosh, do you get what you pay for, and everything was well worth the cost. The quality was excellent, and there was so much variety. The meats were tender and well cut, the fruit and veg was fresh every day and the yogurts were fantastic - the best I've ever had. Service was always with a smile and really helpful. One of the best delis I've ever been in, well worth a visit to Hawthorne.

Went down to the local Garage and wanted to grab a bagel for lunch to take home. They have salads...And they are awesome. Interesting how we get hooked onto the Coles and Woolies $8 Roast Chicken. They have Roast Chickens here that are a tad more expensive, but OMG..These chickens melt in your mouth, the density is different, I don't know what those supermarket chains do the chickens but for a real Roast Chicken (Take Away) experience, grab one of the Garage's. Had one of their spectacular coffee's and again, cannot fault. This place is a local icon, If your passing drop in they have also fresh fruit and vegie section that just "Pops"...
