Morrissey's Roadhouse - HAWLEY

Friendly staff. Alcohol seems to be inconsistently priced (drink was $5, came back about a week later and same drink was $7). Food was crazy salty (assuming to get you to drink more, other reviews seem to like the food, I'm not particularly picky, maybe it was just a fluke) to the point of inedible. Fun little place for drinks and live music. Would suggest against ordering food though.

Was very disappointed with my experience.Firstly a group of friends and I walk in and sit down and wait, and wait, and wait. We go up to the bar and we’re told that the waitress will be right over, obviously we weren’t rushing anyone we just wanted a couple drinks, so we go back to our table. Then the waitress comes over and hands us menus and says “I’ll be right back take a look at these, I have to go wait on a 2 top that came in before y’all”……….. (they came in like 5 minutes or more after us) finally it comes to ordering (and quite frankly I don’t go out nor drink much so I don’t know what goes in what drink, I’m also not a bartender), needless to say the waitress made me feel absolutely stupid for asking for a drink to be made and rather than using the drinks name I mistakenly used the ingredients instead. The disrespect and sarcasm that this waitress was using was quite unpleasant. -10/10 and as my first time there, that was surely my last.

My buddies and I walked in hoping to order wings and something to eat, we weren’t waited on for 5 minutes even though the place was almost empty. Finally a very old lady came over and told us the kitchen was closed so we asked if we could get drinks (water and/or soda). She proceeded to say, “I know you guys are not old enough to drink and you can’t just sit here and drink sodas.” We were trying to give them business because we know how much that place struggles (they changed ownerships multiple times in the span of 10 years) but the old waitress refused to wait on us. I am not sure what is wrong with her and why management would hire someone like that, we were nothing but reasonable and respectful and she still treated us like garbage.

Great service very friendly staff the food was very goodIce cold drinks always a plus
