I've been staying at this hotel for years several times a year. I haven't written a review in awhile. First, the ladies working the front desk are fantastic! They have it under control, can multi task and know what is going on. This is a huge improvement. There is also on sight security at night, which is a nice change. Breakfast was good, as always. Concerns: My biggest concern is that they made the entire hotel pet friendly. Previously, it was just the 2 bottom floors so we always asked for a non pet room, which used to be the top floor. On this trip, we were told the entire hotel is now pet friendly and we cannot be guaranteed an allergen free room. One member of my family has severe allergies, and this is a problem for us. I agree with other posters, the hallways need to be vacuumed more. The rooms are showing their age. It needs to be a bit more modernized. There isn't enough table space. I noticed the duvet covers are new and hated them. The duvet fell out of it since it's no longer fully enclosed. The price has gone up for this hotel, but over all service and cleanliness is not keeping up.

Warning: do not stay. Severe water damage likely to cause mold! ZERO positive customer service in a crisis when we were evacuated in the middle of the night. Hotel employees are not trained in dealing in a crisis or emergency, including corporate!

Typical Hampton Inn but the location just off the highway was good. Easy to continue our trip down the coast from there. Breakfast was adequate and the rooms OK. Noise levels were higher than usual, but by 10 pm it was quiet.

Breakfast was up to a Hampton Inn expectation. We were told if we wanted housekeeping, let the front desk know. On the second day... housekeeping knocked and entered our room. On the third night, maintenance let himself in, asking if we called downstairs about the phone not working. The smoke alarm went off while I was taking a shower. My husband called the front desk, they weren't concerned. Did it stop? Yes. Okay then. My husband stated he didn't want the fire department to come. Oh, they won't, we don't get notified when a smoke alarm goes off. Really?? Seriously?? We will never go back to this location!!! So disappointed
