We ordered a jacket potato with tuna mayo, a cheese and tuna panini, and two lattes. The tuna in both dishes was extremely fishy, causing us to discard it. The salad was extremely wilted. The coffees were pre-sweetened, though one of them seemed to have an excessive amount of sugar added. While the prices were affordable, I would prefer to pay more for better tasting ingredients. I am hesitant to try their cooked breakfast based on this experience.

Eating out with two toddlers can be challenging, but the waitress at this restaurant was incredibly polite and patient with them. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the prices were amazing. I cannot find any fault with this place at all. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My Spanish friend and I stopped at this restaurant for a take-away coffee on a cold winter morning. We both appreciate good quality coffee, but this was the only place open during the semi-lockdown. Although the server was friendly and tried to be helpful, the coffee did not meet our standards. In the future, we would prefer to go without. In fact, I ended up pouring mine out on the grass at Purbrook Heath because it reminded me of the low-quality tea/coffee served on British Rail before they made improvements. Additionally, at the time, the other customers were not practicing social distancing, which was a turn off for me.

Called in here after an early appointment at QA. Service was quick. Premises really clean. Quite a few builders in usually a sign of a good breakfast at a reasonable price. This did not disappoint. Had the full English x2 with a few additional items (mushrooms tin tomatoes black pudding) 2x tea and the bill was less than £15 the food was amazing not at all greasy spoon! The sauté potatoes were to die for. The only negative it was so good hubby is going to want to come every day and with our daughter getting married in 6 days not sure if I will fit in my outfit if we do!

Always look forward to my Breakfast Baguette on a Friday morning. Really friendly service and such yummy food. Have missed them lots since lockdown 3!
