Elliotts Coastguard Fish Chips - Havant

After reading reviews, we decided to give Coastguard a try, and overall, it is definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed small portions of cod, chips, and peas, which were delicious with lovely crispy batter. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a log fire burning, although it was still a bit cool inside. The only downside was the tea, which was pretty awful in all honesty, so I would recommend avoiding it completely.

The last time I ordered a burger and fries, the burger was served in a warm bun in its own box, with the fries in a separate container. However, today, the burger came in a cold bun that had not been warmed up, resulting in slimy bread. Additionally, having the burger and fries in the same box did not help the situation.

I recently had the best chips I've had in a long time at this restaurant. The staff were really friendly and the chicken nuggets were top notch. The cod dish was pretty good as well.

Purchased 3 burgers and chips after opening box all it consisted of was 3 over cooked burgers in 3 rolls, no sallad no cheese even the box for chips was down sized.

Hoping to enjoy some fresh sea air and some nice take away fish and chips we ended up with a soggy mess of undercooked chips and over battered and equally undercooked fish. Yuk. Judging by the full boxes in the bin we weren’t the only ones…not even the sea gulls wanted to have any!
