Excellent home style restaurant, dishes are prepared at the moment, excellent taste, very good service, warm people. If you're looking for an unusual little corner it's the square, it's not the elegant and classic restaurant. But we feel at home I recommend it to 100

I first came here a few years ago when it was harder to find. Now there is someone who sits outside and can guide you through the dark maze towards the restaurant. They can make you a vegan/vegetarian plate. I wish there was more of a vegan protein (aka beans), but still the food is great as is the vibe. You get a real sense of homestyle cooking and more of what cuban eateries were before the explosion of regular restaurants on the street.

Totally overrated! The fish was in the pan for 15 min and served dry. The Salat was prepared with a horrible vinegar that it became unable to eat. The service was slow and it took ages. The place was not full and our food was the only order at this time. The whole place does not fit any hygienic Standart and if you imagine this Decoration as real Cuba than Disneyland is America. You find more love an passion in Havanna! Keep searching but avoid this trap.

Amazing home made Cuban dishes. Very friendly owner, explains every recipe. Big size plates, traditional food. You can get to know other guests from all over the world. This place is somewhat hidden and usualy opens at about 6.30 pm make sure you don't miss it. A must go to if in Havana!

My favorite one during my stay in Havana. We will come back for sure. If you are a food lover and you're ready for real Cuba, go inside and don't let the written walls, the old stoves and pans let you change your mind. The food that gives you a smile and satisfaction, it's the one prepared with love, not the tourist traps or the fancy restaurants. This is a daughter and father restaurant, where they cook everything in front of you with fresh products. You can see them cooking with love and above all, it really impressed me how careful they are and how cleaned the place is attending poor conditions. Please don't expect a fancy restaurant, don't even think about having all plates and chairs looking the same because for this you wouldn't leave your country. I have seen in Europe a lot of places, way more expensive with less hygiene and cleaning routines. Even to prepare you a drink here, they grab a straw with food tweezers. They are extremely careful, attentive and kind to everyone. They food is the real cuban homie one. We had the lobster and grilled fish as we loved it. We were 6 and we had 3 plates to share as the portions are good. Thank you so much for receiving us.
