First time eating at Babes on Plum. My friend and I aren 't able to go on the Spoon River Dr either weekend but we decided to take a ride up to Havana and find a place for lunch before heading across the river to the orchard. I looked up places to eat and Babes won out. We were SO happy with our choice. She had the honey pepper chicken mac 'n cheese I had the bourbon and swiss with a bowl of the Mexican street corn soup. Generous portions and absolutely delicious! Our waitress was extremely nice. Only thing missing was an offer to refill my drink during my meal. We 're already planning our next visit. Downtown Havana and the riverfront area are lovely What a treasure we 've found! I 'd post pics but there 's no option.

Waited over a half hour for our food. When we asked why table behind us that came in 15 minutes behind us got served and we were still waiting. Was told ticket didn't print. No extra drink was offered when glass were low. Homemade potato chips heavily salted and soggy. Husband had to ask for stuff that wS supposed to be on pork tenderloin. Tenderloin very grease. Not a good first impression. Service: Dine in
