Wasabi Sushi - Hattiesburg

The salad and soup weren't all that great. However, as I've heard, the sushi was very, very good. The tuna tartar appetizer was delicious with just the right amount of kick to it. We got the love boat for two which I felt was a great value and very high quality.

Very clean establishment and friendly staff. The tuna tar tar and Ocean Star Maki were just too heavily sauced to really enjoy individual flavors or textures. The ocean star maki was actually hard to keep together from plate to mouth. The sashimi appetizer was the right thickness and quantity to split and enjoy. I'm willing to try again, but it was just off on this visit.

This is a great spot for enjoying Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced for what you receive. Their extensive menu offers a diverse selection to choose from, and the bento box looked particularly appealing.

The food was delicious, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was pleasant—not too loud for conversation. We will definitely return to try new dishes.

Average at best. The sushi roll fell apart because it was poorly wrapped. In fact, the grocery store down the street has better-formed rolls, which is quite disappointing. I was let down by this restaurant and can’t understand how it has such high ratings.
