Waffle House - Hattiesburg

I was not recognized when I came. the bar was covered with dirty feed and soap water. some the waitress laughed and spoke to others. when she finally recognized my presence, it was to raise a finger that showed that I should wait and disappeared into the back. I went and went to another restaurant.

Food was great. As usual...they were understaffed...I have worked for Waffle House enough to know. In spite of understaffing due to people not properly reporting for work... the food and service was great.

It is a Friday morning so I thought I would treat myself to a good breakfast. I stopped at this Waffle House. I walk in and sit down. I am the only person in the restaurant. The waitress looks up, doesn’t come to me, ms says “The grill is shut down so they can clean it. He is going to start shortly and it will take about 30 minutes. If you want to wait you can”. At 6:30 in the morning they are shutting down to clean. This is a breakfast restaurant. I went down the street to Hardee’s. They don’t have to worry about me bothering them again.

Service was slow. Took their time getting around to cleaning tables, but our waitress was very nice and food was ok (a little overcooked) so I gave them 3 stars.

These people do not know how to cook or use the right eating terminology. that is in order to be reported. food: 1/5
