The Yard Milkshake - Hattiesburg

Good service, good meal, plenty of staff, clean restrooms. If I were to give a complaint, its a personal preference issue, not a quality one, which it doesn't effect my score. Not a fan of my eggs on top of my country Fried Steak. Wish it was on theside.

Server was great. We got banana foster french toast, sweet heat chicken and waffles, plain pancakes and hashbrowns. Hazelnut hot coffee and vanilla plain coffee. We loved it. No complaints at all

Our go to place when visiting Hattiesburg. They have a great menu. Their breakfast is amazing. Service is always great. They also offer several different specialty coffees but their mixed drinks look awesome!! I haven?t had the opportunity to try oneyet but hopefully one day ? They?re usually packed, so plan on waiting for a bit. The wait is never as long as they say. Fridaywe were told an hour to an hour and 20 minutes but I think we may have waited 20 minutes before being seated. You will enjoy allthe old photos and news paper articles. I love the building and the atmosphere, it takes me back in time. Parking is a headachebut it will be worth it! Make sure you try the pancakes ? I don?t typically eat pancakes BUT these will make your mouth water.

I heard the chatter about The Midtowner for a while before I was able to have my first visit the other day. Outstanding. Country fried steak was the best I've had. My wife let me in on the spicy hash browns secret. Get there early or plan on waiting a bit,definitely worth it.

First time coming here. Seems like the change to stopping the full breakfast menu at 11am is a relatively recent one? and one the staff seem to like. Happy staff means better service so happy for them. That said, the last time we TRIED to come here,the wait was outlandish and we left. Today we were today about 45 minutes, so we waited and ultimately took a seat at thebar. Omelette was good, pancakes were good? I gotta be honest, I wasn?t impressed by the cheese grits. Not sure if that wasthe last of that particular batch, but they were gross and runny. Nice little place if you have the patience though. We leftfull and pretty satisfied.
