Leo's Cuban Kitchen - Hattiesburg

I am only in Hattiesburg a couple of times a month, but eat here every chance I get. The service is always good, and the food is delicious. Everything I have ordered is amazing and fresh, and the coffee afterward is divine. Excellent place to eat!

This place was the best restaurant in Hattiesburg. I am devastated.

How do you mess up plantains? Even their rice was off. I love Cuban food, so much so that I was willing to give Leo's two chances. I also like the story, I'm all for bootstraps and underdogs. Their food is absolute garbage in presentation, quality, flavor, and in texture. I really wanted to like this place, and it just failed. Miserably. You can tell they're cutting cost in the quality of their foods, there was little to no spice or flavor, and the execution totally whiffed. Skip it.

Simply put- it's the best. I was introduced to this about a year and a half ago. The food is always fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are always willing to help make suggestions.

I've eaten at Leo's a few times, and it has always been really, really good. I absolutely can't get over their Cuban sandwich. No matter how many times I want to try something else, I always go back to that dang sandwich; it's delicioso. Staff is very polite and accommodating as well.
