Fox Hole - Hathersage

This is a very cozy restaurant with a great selection of delicious dishes at reasonable prices. Every time I visit, I feel at home. It's family-friendly, dog-friendly, and easily accessible for wheelchair users. It's the perfect spot to unwind after spending time in the Peak District.

I returned after a run during the marathon and didn't feel like cooking, so I randomly chose The Fox House for a meal. We received a warm welcome, and the service was impeccable with a friendly team. We will definitely be back. Great staff and fantastic food!

I love this rustic pub! I always feel welcome thanks to the attentive and knowledgeable staff. They have a fantastic selection of drinks, and the food is excellent—I've never had a bad meal or culinary experience here.

The rainbow trout was beautifully cooked, and the white wine sauce paired with it was delicious. I just wished there had been a bit more sauce. On the other hand, the portion of the barbecued ribs was generous, and the meat was tender and flavorful. They also offer their lunch menu until 5 PM, which is great for those looking for a lighter meal. The sandwiches on the lunch menu also come in good portion sizes.

I feel fortunate to live just 35 minutes away from this beautiful location. The food was delicious and flavorful, with generous portion sizes. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking out this popular pub!
