Onions were sweet for some reason, the meat tasted like it was frozen, and too much

I walk by this shop everyday and finally decided to go in. They have a lot to choose from as well as their specials and some amazing dessert that I was thinking of trying but I didn’t and now regret. They have a cold case with sides (soup, salads (not the lettuce salads) pickles etc. they have a cooler for beverages and then there’s the food! We had to do take out because we had the dog, but I would have enjoyed sitting at one of their three tables and dining. The food was really good! The portion size immense! Plenty for leftovers. I’ll definitely go back and ask for the dessert as well and sit inside. They have outdoor seating for better weather as well. What a little gem of a restaurant. They are open later on Friday and Saturday nights (8pm)

This food here is tremendous, the portions are huge, and the staff here are incredible! This restaurant is one of the big spots that I look forward to when I visit the area, and it deserves all the love and business that it can get!

Delicious sandwich shop! Small spot with a few chairs and tables. Easier to take it to go. The staff is incredibly friendly and you can’t beat the quality for the price. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried this place yet! I recommend the Pastrami Reuben :

Visited Philly for a cheesesteak tour and this place had pretty great reviews on their Philly Cheesesteak. No offense to them, as they are great people with excellent customer service, their Philly Cheesesteak (as named on their menu as well , is one of the worst cheesesteaks I have had. I had a steak with provolone and onions and it looked like they used mozzarella(? . Each bite was uneven in terms of cheese and meat ratio. One bite would have all cheese and one would have just meat. Presentation-wise, the cheese wasn't distributed throughout the sandwich and was just one big dollop in the middle of the sandwich. The steak wasn't chopped up/separated and it looked like it was just cooked and then put in the sandwich. Again, wonderful people but terrible Philly Cheesesteak which they need to seriously revise.
