Contribuiți la feedbackI wore a beige sweatshirt on this occasion, which somehow managed to attract the sauce from the Nashville Hot Cauliflower—crispy-fried cauliflower drizzled with Nashville hot sauce and served with ranch dressing. I have to say, it was amazing! It tasted just like chicken bites—who knew? The Crispy Brussels Sprouts were fantastic too. For our main courses, we ordered the Brick House Famous BBQ Ribs, which are beer-braised and slow-smoked with a house-made whiskey barbecue sauce, served with creamy coleslaw and fries, and the Ribeye Steak—12 oz of USDA Choice ribeye, char-grilled and topped with garlic butter, served alongside garlic parmesan mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was cooked perfectly and incredibly delicious. I also enjoyed a Voodoo Punch, which was really refreshing. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was attentive and courteous. I can't wait to return! Thank you once again, Brick House Tavern and Tap, for another enjoyable dinner.
I ordered the pulled pork grilled cheese with tater tots, but to my surprise, the sandwich was just two unmelted slices of Kraft singles with a piece of red onion in between, and the tater tots were lukewarm. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow me to upload the video of the sandwich. My husband and I came here on a whim, and we won't be coming back.
The bar is designed in a square shape with stools around it, but the beer tap hardware hanging from the ceiling obstructs views on both sides, making it difficult to see the HDTVs mounted behind the bar. Additionally, after my drink (a Summer Shandy) was poured, the taps continued to drip onto the metal splash guard above the drain, causing droplets of beer to spray in various directions, particularly towards me. While I didn’t get wet, the splashes made the wooden bar top damp, damaging its finish. There must be a more effective and sanitary way to manage leaking taps. It also seemed that the bar staff was chosen more for their appearance in fitted jeans than for their bartending skills. While I have no complaints about the view, witnessing broken glasses, cut fingers, and spills was less than enjoyable—this happened twice during my hour-long visit. I decided to play it safe with the Brick House Cheeseburger, which looked promising when it arrived. However, my request for medium doneness resulted in something much closer to well done. The fries were decent, but the burger itself was merely average at best. Overall, it feels like the management doesn’t run a tight ship and should focus more on training their staff to prioritize customer experience rather than their own interactions. The menu prices are steep for this kind of roadhouse atmosphere, and both the food quality and service should correspondingly reflect that standard. Otherwise, it risks coming off as a dive bar attempting to present itself as upscale.
Decided to order takeout- $8 for this soup and the rest was nothing to write home about either! No other words needed, except... lesson learned, never again!
I visited this establishment for the first time today for a lunch meeting. I really liked the ambiance and the menu.It looks like they have great happy hour . I had the mahi mahi and it was really, really good.I am looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu items. I want to try the burgers and wings and the most interesting item is duck wings . I have never seen this before and am looking forward to trying them. Th guy I was with said that they are almost tough to tell they are different then regular chicken wings. Second visit today 2-7-19 and I just returned the order of fish and chips. Looked ok but when I picked one up the bottom was all soggy and disgusting. The fish had to be sitting for at least 1-2 hours to become this soggy , shockingly bad and I guess they don 't fry their fish to order? Server offered to bring a fresh order of fish but I asked to see the menu as there is no way I would ever order fish and chips again here.Ordered the farm house burger and it was very good but fries were cold , most likely from my returned fish and chips. Server was apologetic but no manager or anyone offered to do anything special for my table and that is fine.I had taken the pictures of my meals and was posting on yelp and updating my review and the server saw me on yelp and asked are you ok? I said yes I am fine , but the fish and chips was terrible. She ran to who I believe to be the head chef, I think his name was chef-boy-ru-soggy, and when I was walking out he offered to make me another order of fish and chips .... I declined and he informed me that it would be complimentary and he could have them ready to go in 3 minutes. I believe he could because I am sure there were some sitting under a heat lamp. I declined once again and informed him I was on my way to Orlando Florida and would be having dinner there. Maybe I should have taken him up on his offer and fed the fish and chips to some alligators.Disappointing. Definitely won 't be back.
