The Anchor Public House - Hastings

I had my work Christmas meal at this restaurant on December 2, 2016 with a group of 16 people, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was excellent, very tasty and served hot. I ordered the roasted beef and it was incredibly tender and delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and had a great evening. The service from the three staff members was outstanding, they should be proud of the job they did. Everyone was very happy with the evening, and I received positive feedback from all of my colleagues about the venue and my recommendation to dine there. A special thanks to Billie, Chantelle, and the third young lady for their excellent service, and I will be leaving a little something for her for Christmas. Also, thanks to the chef and to Dennis and Sarah for hosting us that evening.

The Anchor Inn is truly enchanting! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere by the friendly staff. The food is homemade, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. The pub features a large old fireplace filled with logs, creating a cozy ambiance perfect for enjoying a delicious meal and soaking up the warm atmosphere. It truly feels like a home away from home.

Really can't blame a single thing. I went to a busy Sunday service, who was hungry as a horse, and went the length of hastings without having a veggie roast. welcomes, accommodated and fed with a star service. so it should be, and eating was glorious enough to satisfy. happy news of the day!

Absolutely this place cannot fail, simply fantastic, customer service, eat and so friendly staff. I always come back as I am very welcome. they get definitiw 5 stars! ps the beer is also great.
