Favorite Gyro in town. Food is always fresh. Great Greek salad. Family owned and operated.

Best gyro in the Huntsville Metro. Love this place! You have a fantastic gyro, better imho than Big Papa's or Jamo's (not the others are bad, only 5 A is better). I love to support local family businesses, and this is easy to do when eating is so good! Get the classic gyro (I hold the olives and tomatoes) and enjoy!

Our new favorite restaurant. We recently saw that a friend had eaten and recommended. We had the gyroscope (lamb and beef) plate and the Portabella mushroom plate plus three desserts. The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. RECOMMENDATIONS!

Large Mediterranean Persian view. We chose a day trip to Huntsville (we live in Franklin, TN). After we spent the day in the space center, we found reviews for 5As on urbanspoon. Since we like to roll the dice and try new things, we went for it. 5As is definitely out of the beaten path. We drove a road for about 10 miles to get there. But at least we went north to Franklin and it wasn't really out of the way. Surprisingly, 5A looks like a small country restaurant in a non-descript building. The shield is a star with 5As. When we were there, I noticed that many people were regular who seemed to know the owner. There are no ruffles inside. They had Greek decor, i.e. columns, a Roman-looking statute and some paintings. There was also a large TV tuned to a sports channel. The tables, toilet, etc. were very clean. I also noticed a 98% health note on the wall. Unlike many Mediterranean restaurants, 5A seems authentic. They serve not only Bland Gyro meat and chicken as you see 'd in a mall food dish. The menu offers some Greek (i.e. moussaka, lemon chicken soup, baklava), Persian and Middle East. The Persian Entrees were the most unique in my view. You don't often see that. I recommend her eggplant bark. We really enjoyed the whole food. The ducks come with salad, pita bread and a small amount of hummus. I also liked her side soup (laughed chicken). My children liked the gyro plate. The service was fast and polite. They order at the counter and bring the food to you (what I prefer since we have children). Overall: Great choice. I recommend 5As!!
