What a beautiful unexpected experience! Off-the-path tiny town with a jewel of a restaurant. Old western institution, and friendly good service. Exceptional food. The steaks were perfect and the sides interesting and tasty. Very recommended, a bit out of the way to find this place. (Only complaint: Must Love Pepper. A little heavy hand in all dishes. Oh, and the bar serves fantastic cocktails!

One of the best restaurants? ll ever find! The hotel is located in Hartville, Wyoming, population of 141. Great food, especially steaks and desserts. To perfection! Very friendly staff. Very nice bourbon and wine selection.

The atmosphere could no longer be perfect for a small town in Wyoming. Once you go in, you know that this meal will be something special. Start with a good selection of drinks from the bar. All salad dressing is made in the house. Dressing on the wedge salad made me think I have a BLT sandwich! Delicious! Prime Beef! Perfectly seasoned to make the taste of the meat shine. The garlic potatoes were perfect and the green beans were also good. Then take off with another bourbon, and this is as perfect as a meal as you can get.

I came here with my entire National Guard unit which had to have been close to 100 people, maybe more (they knew in advance we were coming and we rented the whole place out). We definitely put the staff through their paces but they did an incredible job keeping up and doing it with a smile. The drinks on the cocktail menu were all phenomenal (the saddle brone beer is some of the best beer I've ever had), food was outstanding and of course the atmosphere makes this a really cool spot. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be stopping by and I suggest you do the same.
