Casa Del Mar - Hartlepool

This was my first visit, and I had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between £10 and £20. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

The view was lovely, and the starter was nice, but it arrived alongside the main course before we had finished. The chicken was dry, and the pineapple that accompanied the steak and chips was overcooked. I raised a complaint about the chicken, but they didn't seem to care. It was the most expensive meal we've had, yet the worst experience.

During our recent two-day visit to Hartlepool, we discovered this incredible restaurant. The food was simply delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed—all at reasonable prices. If we lived nearby, we would definitely be regular customers. My partner, who is vegetarian, had a wide variety of options to choose from. We enjoyed a lovely dinner during our visit.
