The White Lion - Hart

Very warm welcome from Paul and team, Sunday roast was amazing, so much food great value for money. Would highly recommend and looking forward to my next visit.

We had a lovely meal at The White Lion today. Friendly staff, good food and ambience is great with log fires burning. Paul the Manager is very welcoming and always greets with a happy smile and takes time to make sure everything is ok.

I decided to visit this restaurant to try out the service and food before making a reservation for Christmas Day. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The appetizers received mixed reviews - I enjoyed the tasty prawn cocktail, but my partner found the calamari to be bland and overcooked (although it was taken off the bill). It seemed like the calamari was possibly reheated in the microwave. I then ordered the slow-cooked pork belly, which was delicious.

Well run by Paul with a team of friendly staff making you feel very welcome. It’s the pub in Yateley with the most character. Food is really good I would particularly recommend the signature burger. A little pricey but this can be reduced by using the Vintage Inns app and getting discounts and offers. A great place to visit we’ve made it our ‘local’.

Went for a Sunday roast yesterday! Absolutely incredible food very generous portions, service was lovely. Atmosphere a typical homely pub on a Sunday! Definitely will be visiting again soon!
