The Prince Arthur - Hart

Great, speedy service. Had fish and chips for two. The batter appeared a little dark and possibly overcooked. This was also the case on another table. I don't know if it was a batter issue or the chef always fries it that way! Otherwise everything else, perfect.

Good pub fare. Beer selection somewhat lacking. Reasonably priced pub grub no frills. Friendly staff ,recommended.

Nice enough for lunch. Wetherspoons is always good value for money. Can't go wrong with a burger and a pint of Ruddles ale for well under £10.

Mixed Grill was good, the Chocolate cake and Vanilla ice cream was nice. We also had a steak pie and mash but the mash had black parts in it and they certainly looked like ash from cigarettes which is disgusting. We spoke to the waitress and she tried to say it was black pepper but it wasn't, so we changed to to a Salmon meal which they allowed us to have free but the Salmon meal wasn't much better because it was dry as hell

The manager behind the bar refused me sour cherry shots since I stuttered my words (mind you I’m foreign and never heard of it in my life and was told by my mates to get them). He refused to give me the drinks since he taught I was drunk even though I was clearly talking in a sober manner infront of the man. The app also didn’t work since credit card is required and doesn’t work properly with foreign debit cards.
