The Bay Horse - Harrogate

Perfect.. perfect.. perfect. Host's were amazing as was beer, evening meal and breakfast. Service from the girls at dinner was 5 star. This is a proper Inn owned by proper people..enough said except the biggest thankyou for you hospitality and care. We'll be back. Derek and Sue Huntley.

Stayed one night as a stopover. Lovely pub, rooms very comfortable with everything you would expect. The food is brilliant, home cooking and plenty of it. Breakfast the same. The host and staff are friendly and efficient.

They stayed overnight to break the journey from Scotland. had a very friendly reception and excellent value for money. rooms very comfortable, meals were nice and beer well kept. highly recommended.

What a really good experience. this was not only an overnight stay, but transported for the day into a real northern hospitality. the hotel is a perfect mix of traditional quintessential English pub and individual accommodations. the menu was great and they only knew that there was the additional bonus of the right home cooking from a cook that knows how to make good quality correct menu. we had already been told about the steak pipe and we were not disappointed. the bonus the next day was also a fantastic full English breakfast that we set up for the day. even at dinner, drinks and overnight, the bill was very reasonable. great little place and very glad we found it.

Basic room with creaking floor boards, room OK but needs updating but at £60 B B who can complain. Chris and partner excellent hosts, could not do enough for you. GREAT food, lounge with open fire loverly and warm. Good location to Thirsk and moors. Comment *Toilet seat loose, also needs a better quality one. *Toilet door would not close (sticking at top)
