Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a great time at the Joiners Arms Quiz Night on Sunday evening. The Quiz master was fantastic, and the Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker and Landlord were deliciously kept. I would give it 5 stars for a lovely and entertaining evening.
A huge part of me doesn’t want to write this as it may encourage others to seek out a wonderful pub hidden in the beautiful village of Hampsthwaite. The food is amazing (hats off to the chef) whether it be the normal menu or the Sunday carvery the food is fresh, home cooked and tastes fantastic. It would be remiss of me not to mention that the staff are almost as good as the food, super service, attentive enough with overdoing it and odd a chorus or two from Chris the singing waiter makes this my favourite pick to eat when we’re up in Harrogate
What a great pub, lovely professional service, friendly welcome (including my dog) and the food was amazing. We rang to book a table, when we arrived the pub wasn’t packed so it had a relaxed and peaceful feeling to it. There was a good selection of home made food which was delicious. We had pie, fish and chips and the Moroccan lamb burger. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The prices were good too. I just wished I lived closer so that I could pop regularly!
We were staying in the village for 3 nights for the show, we went for the final night and wished we had gone the other 2 nights, excellent food best curry I have had, great steak, all homemade fantastic puddings, and tasty wine and beer,we are from Wales we had a fantastic welcome will definitely be back next year.
I absolutely loved this charming pub! My group went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was exceptional. The portions were generous and well prepared. The desserts were also homemade and delicious. I highly recommend this spot as a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.
