I called to ask for either a refund or a replacement. The woman I spoke with confirmed my order but said I hadn’t paid for the egg, which is why it was missing. Confused, I told her I had paid when placing the online order. She then suggested I bring in my receipt so they could remake the sandwich. I was just five minutes away, so I drove back immediately. When I entered, I explained my situation again to the cashier when another woman from the back interrupted. She held up the receipt in front of me and reiterated that I hadn’t paid for the egg. I explained again that I had paid online, and regardless, the sandwich was missing other items—only the sausage and cheese were present, without mayo, red onion, or salt and pepper. With a huff, she went back to the kitchen, and I overheard her arguing with the cook, complaining that if an item wasn’t paid for, it wouldn’t be included on the sandwich. They also noted that I hadn’t paid for the cheese, continuing their complaints loudly enough for me to hear. After about 10-15 minutes, I finally received my "corrected" sandwich. However, when I got back to work and opened it, the biscuits were completely crumbled. I literally couldn’t pick it up without it falling apart. This time, it did have the egg, chicken sausage, and cheese, but nothing else was improved.

This is a local café that prepares fresh bagels every day. The bagels were indeed fresh, but be sure to specify how much cream cheese you'd like. I wish they had been toasted a bit more. The two eggs and home fries were somewhat disappointing. We ate in, and the meal was served on one side of the plate. The egg was fried instead of being sunny-side up as I ordered, and it was a bit greasy. However, the wait for our food was only about 10 minutes. It's not a bad place; I definitely prefer supporting local businesses over chains.
