Crews Inn - Harrison Township

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was exceptionally rude. We requested to sit outside, and the hostess reacted very negatively. She seated us in a concrete corner with no view. When we asked to move to one of the many available tables, she was reluctant. We mentioned that we were visiting from out of town, and her response was to tell us to go wherever we wanted. Then, the waitress approached and directed us to the farthest part of the deck, despite the numerous empty tables. There were five of us in our party, and we expressed our apologies, explaining that we didn’t appreciate being treated so unkindly, but she chose to argue instead. Ultimately, we decided to leave and go to the restaurant next door. As we walked out, she yelled at us, “Thanks for coming in!” This place is an absolute joke!

The clam chowder was excellent, the Crews Inn salad was massive, and the Tomahawk pork chop was incredibly delicious. I always have a great experience at Crews Inn.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was incredible, and the brunch drinks were excellent. Sitting outside by the river was a delightful experience, watching the boats pass by.

In a word, Troubling. Why? OK, let's start with the positives. The view is very nice (boat watching! and there's typically parking If you arrive by sea. And of course, we can't forget about the bartender, Tom; always friendly and professional. But that's where it ends...and it hurts me to say that because I used to love eating here.....the food used to be on point, with great variety, and well prepared. Now? Flat, no imagination, and lacking even a spec of creativity. If you would like to have a decently prepared cocktail, sit out side at the bar, and watch the boats go by, this is your place. If you're looking for a delicious meal, keep looking. Sincerely, disappointed.

First off the food was amazing and our waitress Olivia was phenomenal!!!! The staff in a whole was extremely friendly and very sweet. All in all it's a very laid back environment and the lake view is really relaxing and beautiful on the patio. Bottom line if you're looking for good drinks, food and a chill relaxing time watching the boats dock and pass by this is the place to go! I'm looking so very forward to coming back for dinner!! ??
