Breakwall Cafe - Harrington

I have to say that my experience at Harrington was below average in terms of both the meals and customer service. I'm hoping that tomorrow will offer a better experience. I'm disappointed, as I was really looking forward to this break, but I honestly don't see any reason to return.

The hamburger was gorgeous. It's a bit pricey, but the stunning presentation is definitely included in the delivery.

Basically the owners have no idea how to run a cafe. Great views but dirty windows covered in cobwebs. Smashed avocado was puree out of a bag and revolting. Excuse was old ladies squeezing fresh ones and bruising them! So many obvious mistakes that they should have done a hospitality course first. Ambience is low, so nothing going for it. I can see why they are struggling. They won't last IMHO.

Then the owner came out and insisted he would have to charge me for my correct order because I had "eaten" the dish. I assure you, I only cut into one piece. He refused to refund me or replace my order. It was an absolute farce. I felt robbed. He took the food away, and I was left with nothing after paying $20 for an incorrect order.

Delicious food, kid friendly environment and lovely staff. Thoroughly enjoy our lunch out!
