Hawkes Lobster - Harpswell

This new restaurant is a great spot to bring the grandkids for a special meal. We were a bit disappointed not to see the lobster tank at first, but the worker behind the register assured us that it was back.

We purchased lobsters and oysters from this place. They were as fresh as if they had just come from the bay! They are a must-try.

This restaurant is a hidden gem located in a secluded harbour where the lobsters are incredibly fresh, straight from the fishing boats. I drove 24 miles just to find this hidden treasure.

All new. we miss the lobster tank to have our enkelkinderpeek and tell them hello. the worker behind the register said it was back we miss the picturesque feeling of the load. the bins have gone with all sorts of T-shirts, and colors they have offered. the shop looks like a pseudo small apartment with T-shirts hanging everywhere. when I asked for a teale color of the compass pink shirt. I have to go upstairs. the article I bought was not in the computer. when I came home and looked at the day in China! china. there are so many local craftsmen who would do well in this shop. are the days gone? I gave three stars to the genealogy that this expansive family business is.
