Contribuiți la feedbackI really wanted to give a stellar review. Let me start off by saying the service and the atmosphere was outstanding. The food was a different story. We went to celebrate my 50th birthday. We don't mind paying high prices for great food. Unfortunately this was not the case. We went for the smoke house meats. It was way too salty. My husband sausage board was almost not edible chewy, salty and hard. His cut of prime rib was dried out. The apple strudel was burned on the bottom and the apple filling must have evaporated.The tea was great and the napoleon was the highlight of the meal. We spent a lot of money here. I'm glad it went to support the monastery. If you are going to commend high prices quality of the food should follow.
Every one was so nice and friendly. The garden's were beautiful.
If you are looking to treat yourself to a special meal this would be a good place to start.

European based menu. Fresh ingredients. Intelligent chef.
