Costa - Harlow

Popped in for quick coffee with mum while out shopping, service was great and coffee was nice and hot, great selection of cakes

We've been to Costa in Next in Harlow a few times now and without exception the staff are always cheerful, helpful and friendly. Today they were all dressed up in their Christmas jumpers, aprons and antlers and offering free samples of a caramel coffee drink around the cafe to customers. They always take care making the drinks and have a smooth running system of serving at the counter to get the orders fulfilled quickly. It's a pleasure to pop in for coffee and a snack and we really appreciate your welcome. Definitely the best place for refreshments in Harlow. Thank you all so much.

I stopped by for a drink and a snack. The drinks board is electronic and takes a while to navigate. I ordered a toastie from the waitress, who seemed flustered while trying to read the drink options. She then made our drinks and seemed impatient, even throwing them on the counter. I thanked her politely, but she appeared unhappy. The lady at the till apologized for her behavior. I will not be returning when she is working, as she seemed disinterested and unfriendly.

I quickly grabbed a coffee and left. The staff was efficient, but the cleanliness was really subpar. I was surprised because Next is a popular shop with a lot of customers during the week, so it was quite disappointing.

I am a huge Costa fan and visit most days. The staff in this particular branch are always friendly and polite and even on their busiest of days greet you with a smile. I can’t rate the food as I’m GF but the coffee is always excellent.
