China Star - Harlingen

Since the former owner has taken over this restaurant, there have been enormous improvements in every aspect of the restaurant. The food is delicious again and the restaurant is again almost immaculate. This is not a beautiful place and priCe tags are modest, but for what they load, they offer far superior product. I had stopped going to this restaurant a few years ago and decided to give him an attempt after a friend recommended it again and not been disappointed.

We love to eat here and always prawns fried rice and orange chicken extra sharp! We love the employees they always have our drinks full and bring our food hot. When we go, we know it's gonna be so great!

Enjoy the lunch buffet here. Lo mine is tasty together with the chicken teriyaki and roast Wintons. The reason I don't give them 5 is that one of my favorite dishes is General Tsao's chicken and her is not very delicious. Currently no buffet, but the China Star Chicken on the lunch menu is very good. They increased prices by $2

Wonderful food and service. They said they were short employees when we came, but the service was fast. The food was fresh and hot. We even had a big party without delays. Everything was good.

Food is good. Decent price. Don't leave credit card tips because the wait staff will not get them.
