Keoni's Hawaiian Kaukau Truck

I recently visited a small business food truck in the middle of Texas where the people were friendly and the portions were huge! I was pleasantly surprised by the owner, Keoni, who was incredibly personable and radiated true aloha spirit. The service and food reminded me of Hawaii and made me so happy. The macaroni salad was a delightful touch and the grilled dishes with their sweet and savory sauce were delicious. We tried the huli huli huh and ribs, both with generous portions, and even ordered a poke bowl to-go because we were still hungry. I highly recommend visiting this food truck on a Saturday to get your dose of aloha!

We tried this local Hawaii Island restaurant for the first time and it definitely did not disappoint. We ordered a mix of kalua pork, loco moco, and my personal favorite, poke bowl. Everything tasted delicious and we would definitely eat here again.

The restaurant is no longer open for daily service as the owner has returned to cooking school. However, they do host pop-up events, which can be found on their Facebook page.

Aloha!!! Had the privilege to finally stop by tonight and grab dinner! We all got something different so we tried 4 different items! Everything was top notch Customer service was great, even learned some Hawaiian lingo! The food was ono translates to Delicious) Thank you Keoni (John) for a great evening!
