The owner typically takes the orders, but her demeanor swings from warm to cold—it might be better if she stayed out of sight. Recently, I tried the mocha cheesecake, and it had absolutely no flavor—just nothing at all. Very strange. The young man handing out orders at the side door was quite unfriendly. He didn’t smile or make eye contact; he just shouted the order number and that was it, despite being the only person waiting. A simple acknowledgment would have been nice! The atmosphere of the place has changed for the worse. There’s no more indoor dining where you could see all the options and watch the staff interact; it used to feel welcoming and friendly. Now, everything is curtained off, and you can’t see inside anymore. It’s odd. I’d recommend going to New Salem General Store instead for better food and friendlier service!
I’ve been visiting this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed it, but today will be my last trip. The food is still excellent, but the overall experience has been disappointing. You have to order and then sit outside on a bench, which feels a bit juvenile. Recently, the staff has been quite rude, and while I was sitting there, I found myself looking up other places to support. The atmosphere, which used to be pleasant, is now spoiled, and I’m truly upset about it.
I can't recommend this bakery highly enough. The breads and pastries are simply amazing; I could swear that the croissants and baguettes came right out of a Parisian oven. This place is truly a food lover's paradise.
I have had bread and pastries from so many bakeries and I can?t stress how delicious every single thing I have had from Rose 32 is. The sourdough bread is so crusty and makes the perfect grilled cheese. The Kouign-amann is probably the single mostdelicious food item I?ve ever had. The lemonade is amazing as well. I?m so blessed to have them close to my home as they are thebest bread I?ve had. Seven Stars bakery in Providence is also excellent bread but not as delicious as rose 32. Seven stars evenmills their own grain from local wheat and their bread still isn?t quite as good. Make the trip and get anything that you mightbe interested in.
The sandwiches were good. The pastries though, were awesome! I had the strawberry rhubarb pie. The crust was beautifully made both for it's look and it's taste. It was flakey, soft, and sweet. My favorite was the cheddar onion biscuit. A bite brought meto savory food heaven. You could taste both of the main ingredients equally and the texture was so soft and a tiny bit crispy inthe perfect spots.
