Hardeeville Chicken Lickn

This is definitely my favorite place to stop for a meal! Everything about it is fantastic! The food is served hot and fresh, truly capturing the essence of southern soul food—it's absolutely delicious! If you're passing through, you definitely won't regret taking a break to refuel your car and grab a bite to eat here. The ladies in the kitchen really know what they're doing! My go-to order is the dark fried chicken, dirty rice, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Highly recommend! Service: Takeout.

I've visited this restaurant a few times. During my first visit, I ordered gizzards and wings, and they were incredibly delicious. On my second visit, I decided to try something different and went for the ribs and brisket. Unfortunately, I found that there was more fat than meat on my plate. While it had a nice smoky flavor, the overall taste was quite bland and just average. I wouldn't recommend the ribs and brisket if you decide to go. However, the mac and cheese is outstanding! Overall, I'd rate the food a 3.

I ordered a three-meat combo with two sides, choosing fried chicken, fried shrimp, and pork ribs, along with collard greens and baked beans. All of this for just $22! I waited about 15 minutes for my number to be called, and let me tell you, it was absolutely the best meal I've had in a long time. The food was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. You can really tell these ladies put their heart into their cooking. I'm completely full now, but I'm seriously considering going back for seconds because it was that amazing!
