The Stables - Harborough

We were looking for a place to have lunch while traveling to Derbyshire, and this restaurant had everything we were looking for. The coffee was excellent and the brunch was fresh and delicious. The menu had a wide variety of options, making it hard to choose just one. Although we didn't try the cakes, they looked amazing. The staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome, even allowing our dog to join us. We would definitely recommend this place and are already planning our next visit. This was the perfect halfway point to meet my cousin for lunch, food was delicious, and the banana milkshakes were a hit with all of us! Very friendly staff, both in person and on the phone. Child and pooch friendly with a lovely seating area outside. We'll definately be back. Thank you for a lovely morning/early afternoon!

We have been before for an amazing breakfast which we love but as we leave we then look at the amazing Sunday roast so this Sunday we skipped breakfast and went for lunch hubby had 3 different meats and I had beef the food was super and you can have as much as you like and even go up again if you could !!! What fabulous value at £8.95

The cleanliness of the restaurant was disappointing. With the current spread of coronavirus, it is important for establishments to be extremely clean. There was noticeable dust on the window ledges, plug sockets, and tops of the seating. There were also a lot of flies present, so having a fly killer at the front of the house would be beneficial. I hope there is one in the kitchen as well. Overall, it was a pleasant morning with tasty coffee and friendly staff. However, the restaurant could benefit from paying more attention to detail and improving cleanliness standards.

I went to this restaurant last Saturday and was very impressed by the friendly hospitality we received. The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the hot tea. Unfortunately, one of my friends accidentally cut his leg quite badly, but the staff, especially Sonia, were incredibly helpful and caring. I highly recommend this establishment for a relaxing breakfast or lunch, especially for motorcyclists like us. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
