Contribuiți la feedbackJewel of India is a top spot in the city for tasty and affordable meals. They have a range of vegetarian curries and dishes that all sound fantastic. I tried the Navratan Curry during my recent visit, opting for a mild spice level, and it was absolutely delicious! The curry featured chickpeas, carrots, peas, potatoes, and cauliflower in a flavorful, slightly sweet yellow sauce. It was served with a generous portion of spiced white Basmati rice. They offer both lunch and dinner size servings, and I recommend going for the dinner size if you're looking for a more substantial meal. However, the lunch portion could be great for sharing or trying out multiple dishes. My dining companion tried the saag paneer with Naan and thought it was also very tasty. The service can be slow at times, so it's best to avoid busy periods or opt for takeout or delivery.
This curry restaurant is excellent, with lots of choices for vegetarians and vegans, located conveniently in the heart of downtown.
The dinner at this restaurant was very good. I ordered the chickpea masala, which I would rate a 9 out of 10. The dish earned five stars from me and was reasonably priced. It's not located too far in Hanover, so there wasn't too much traffic getting there. I also tried the veggie samosas, which I would give a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend the naan bread with garlic on it. Just be cautious if you are vegan, as some dishes may contain dairy. It's always best to ask the staff.
