Bistro At Six - Hanover

This is yet another fried food and ice cream spot on the Cape. It doesn't stand out in any way. If you're craving ice cream and want to avoid the supermarket, this place is a decent option, though it can be quite pricey.

The service was outstanding, the food was of the highest quality, and the environment was spotless. Without a doubt, it's the best dining experience in Hanover, NH. I've tried the salmon, filet medallions, burger, and wings, and I only wish I had taken pictures of all the delicious dishes available.

The bar/lounge area is tastefully decorated and the food is quite impressive. In terms of atmosphere, drinks, and food, this place should be bustling, yet it seems nearly empty whenever I pass by. I think I’ve discovered the reason for that, and it's why I'm deducting two stars for the service. My first glass of wine was only half-filled, and after I requested a refill, I had to wait a full 15 minutes (no exaggeration) to get it. Overall, I felt quite neglected, often going long stretches without any attention. I understand that finding good service staff in the Upper Valley can be challenging, but this experience was a bit excessive.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. The ambiance of the room was fantastic, and the bartenders were very friendly. They crafted a delicious birthday mocktail for me that was just right. I also really enjoyed the beet salad. The younger bartender truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. Plus, the location is ideal for exploring all of Hanover on foot.

Had a fantastic stay in Six South at the New Year's Eve. The treated employees and GM are exceptionally good. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. I liked it so much that we stayed for a second night! One of the best parts was that we could bring our dog who also enjoyed his stay!!
