La Gondola - Hannut

We recently visited an Italian restaurant that has been renovated. The atmosphere is beautiful, with lots of natural light and stones. The service was friendly and the restaurant even offered us a small coffee after our meal, which was a nice touch. We ordered a pizza, a veal scaloppine pizza, and tagliatelle with a tomato sauce, shrimp, and scampi. Everything was fresh and delicious. For dessert, we tried the house specialties, including a fantastic mascarpone and apple verrine and a basil crumble with strawberries. Despite a few minor negatives, such as the owner being a bit short-tempered and the lack of a pizza buffet on Monday nights as advertised on their website, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The restaurant has a very good kitchen, a nice atmosphere, and attentive staff. However, I would recommend making a reservation in advance.

The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
