Kreuzklappe - Hannover

Turkish restaurant in Hannover's Altstadt. Rather dated decor but that kind of adds to the charm.Food I thought was a tad pricey for what it was. Don't get me wrong, nice and all that just a bit meh! There are other better Turkish restaurants in the city.

Pleasant quiet location. Service good but a bit impersonal. Vegetarian options limited. Turkish red wine improved with the second glass. Add ons like bottled water pricey

Despite good food I met several fraud cases in this place:first they gave me english menu, but in the final bill the amount was higher and it was explaned that english version with its prices is out dated, that is sounds very unprofessional and tricky.second, they brough Staropramen beer, but it was very low quality and they had to change it for more cheaper type, but in the final bill - still be Staropramen.the final - even, when I pointed at beer mistake, they changed it, but did math mistake or intentionaly try to get from me more that the beer actually costOverall expresion - typical turkish fraudsters

The location is very good(in the central ) .Also the environment inside is traditional and very well designed. The service was also good enough. A safe solution for eating mainly Turkish cousin.

Never knew that Turkey produces wines. The waiter suggested one and it tasted quite good. We were with a group and the mixed grill for all was excellent and great value for money.
