Fire Ice Cafe Restaurant Bar

Nice place and good price for a holiday town. Although the ribs 1/2 kilo was dry, sauce was good, but the meat was hard to chew. The burger is huge and steak sandwich was also good. Service was alright, seemed strange that they ask you 'half or pint ' for fizzy drinks.

Had a wonderful dinner last night at Fire and Ice Cafe Restaurant Bar. We picked the seat outdoors by the fire place. The staff were very friendly and came to check us on and off. We ordered the Moroccan Chicken, Tuscan Lamb Salad and Farm on a Plate, all of them are savoury and delish. I was surprisingly provided with a warm blanket by a very warmhearted and thoughtful staff as he saw me sitting close to the fire place. We are planning to go for a lunch today and looking forward to it.

Love this place! Became our regular while staying in hanmer. Food is good and the girl that served us during these couple of days was super bubbly brunette with checkered vans). Rump steak, salmon and venison dishes are 10/10. Pasta is also pretty good value for money. Fiancè went for breakfast while I was sleeping and loved it. $10 bacon, eggs and toast). Good variety within the dinner menu. Only given 4 stars as we visited for lunch- ordered burgers and coffee; my cappuccino was more like a flat white a barista myself so I can spot the difference). My fiancè liked his burger but I think mine would've been better if the chicken was crumbed rather than battered deep fryed. Just a suggestion for improvement. Meal checking could be a little more consistent. Other than this though; food was incredible and we throughly enjoyed our visits. Cheers guys

Arrived at 6pm after the Thermals Pools, it was busy but we got a table. Ordered quickly and waited eagerly for our meals. Food took ages to come, so I took the kids outside to the playground. Eventually got all the food on the table after 45 mins. It would be better if they got the kids ' meals out first. For $15, the kids ' meals are good value, as you get a main, drink and dessert. We ordered the 'Farm on a plate ' and the Ribeye

Absolutely loved dining here. Saw soany families having a wonderful time around us as well. Really busy when we were there, and the kitchen absolutely handled it. All the food was very good. The service was good, and the staff all helped each other. Really great to see.
