Smiley's Old Time Diner - Hancock

I'm still here and can't express enough about the hospitality and the amazing food that this place has provided. As a big of a group as we brought in from Minnesota, they did an amazing job! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great home made food! Thank you guys so much for everything that you have done for us and our group of 20+ softball team!!

Food was good and the atmosphere was comfortable. Very disappointed with the waitress that you could tell didn't want to be there. Not friendly and would walk away while you tried to talk to her. Might go back, might not.

We came from Westfield to smileys for lunch with my 87 year old Aunt. Our waitress who had glasses and brown hair was snotty and short when we asked about the potato selection and if they had walleye for fish. Food we got was good. But service was not very good. We won't be back.

The food was EXCELLENT and what you'd expect from a local diner. The burger, and especially the fries were really good. The food tasted fresh and was delicious. We also had the Apple, Berry Cherry pie, al a mode, and the Coconut Cream pie. Donna, the Manager, makes all the pies and they were very tasty. We highly recommend this place! The only negative thing was our female server. She was rude, disconnected, barely gave us eye contact or smiled, didn't check on us after our meal came to see how things were going and when we checked out, we didn't get a thank you or anything. I'm thinking about calling Donna to let her know because I think this young woman needs a different job. We were treated poorly by her and wouldn't come back if I was judging my experience solely on that. We will go back because the food was YUM and hopefully get a different server. Please go eat here!
